Celebrating ourselves isn't easy. Feels like I don't deserve it...even though I sort of know I do.

I celebrate by telling people I know who will be happy for me. Three close friends in particular ☺️

This is a really good question! I really don’t and usually it’s other people that say the nice things about what I have done and then my react is ‘oh no big deal’ or other self-diminishing/humble comment. The most concrete way I can think of is cooking a nice meal with a big glass of water and watching a show I like - just a slow couple of hours to relax.

I do have a bit of a gratitude list in a note on my phone to keep track of nice feelings/moments/achievements to celebrate and appreciate. This is also helpful so I can go back and self-soothe if I’m anxious or feeling blue. :)

I absolutely love this! It’s like a date night but with yourself. The whole thing sounds so intentional. I’m def stealing this idea. And the gratitude list on the phone. Love it.
