Excellent, again humorous and real!
As my mother, diagnosed with dementia, and late in her life, advised her almost 60 year old son to his question of when do you stop worrying about your kids: "that's a silly question; it's when you die!"
I think I’m just now coming to terms with this reality. Sigh!
Oh, yeah! It's just that our worries about them change over time, as they grow up and blunder into adulthood, as we did a bit ago.
